Vitality Roleplay Rules

Welcome to Vitality Roleplay. Please ensure you read these rules thoroughly before entering the server. It is essential that these rules are followed, breaching any of the server rules stated will result in one or more of the following punishments: kick, warning, ban or even blacklist. We reserve the rights to issue punishments and remove anyone from the server or discord community if we feel these are not taken seriously.​

In order to report a player for a rule break, you must open a ticket within the main discord no later than 12 hours after the incident happened, ensuring clips or evidence are attached, we may be unable to take any action without any evidence provided. When creating a report, please ensure the clips/evidence include the player’s ID (Hold U key) who has broken the rules, and any clip provided is at least 30-60 seconds long with audio.

Any action given by staff is final, this can be appealed within the discord, but the decision may not change. Always treat the staff with respect, please remember what they do is voluntary. Anyone seen discussing punishments in general chats or in staff personal messages will result in a timeout or possible ban.

General Rules

• Your chosen character name must not contain anything offensive and should have a sense of realism.
• You must have a working microphone when playing the server, preferably set to ‘push to talk’ to avoid disruption to surrounding player’s roleplay.
• You must be able to speak and understand English.
• You must not have any modifications packs added which may give yourself an unfair disadvantage over other players, these include but not limited to aim assist software, fragging packs and blood packs, please ensure shadows are always enabled. Anyone found to be using any modification packs will be removed and may be blacklisted.
• You cannot use real life money to buy in-game items or assets off other players, anyone found doing so will be blacklisted.
• We have zero tolerance towards any exploiting/scripting/bug abusing – anyone doing this will be blacklisted.
• Toxicity is not tolerated, everyone must be treated with respect, even people you may not get on with, as at the end of the day it is roleplay. Anybody found to be toxic will be removed from our community.
• Twitch TOS must be followed at all times.
• In line with the above, you cannot use derogatory remarks, actions, words or references, whether in RP/OOC/Discord, this includes but not limited to race, gender, religion, sexuality, disabilities, sexual assault, rape. Anyone found using the above will be permanently removed from our community and potentially blacklisted.
• Harassment whether physical, verbal or sexual, especially towards females, will not be tolerated and you will permanently removed from the community.
• Terrorist Roleplay, Erotic Roleplay, and Suicide Roleplay is not allowed within the server. Carrying out this sort of roleplay will result in a permanent ban and/or possible blacklist.

In Server Rules

Character Rules

• You must always stay in character whilst in the server. You cannot go OOC (Out of Character) or break character at any point, even if someone else is breaking character. Going OOC includes but is not limited to talking about reporting players, using words such as AFK, VDM, RDM, Discord etc. Examples of phrases you can use within server are below:
  • Headpop – Lagging
  • Import – Tebex purchase
  • Voicebox – Microphone
  • City – Server
  • Deported – Removed from server
  • In my head – something in real life or going AFK
  • My eyes – what you see on your screen
  • Muscle – keys on your keyboard/mouse
• Fail Roleplay/Poor Roleplay is any roleplay which is unfair or unrealistic. Using /me can increase the roleplay scenario, especially with VHS, VPD and other players, but using /me unrealistically with items not physically available is considered fail roleplay. You cannot put a knife to someone’s neck whilst driving a car, you must also roleplay your injuries with VHS, do not downplay your injuries or act dead just to get out the roleplay. You must carry out high quality roleplay at all times.
• You must value your life at all times. This means if someone is holding a bladed article or a gun to you, you must fear for your life.
• Powergaming is another form of fail roleplay deemed unfair or unrealistic. Examples of Powergaming includes but not limited to carrying a player whilst in a vehicle, escorting or carrying someone who is moving, carrying or escorting someone through locked gates/doors/walls, cuffing someone who is moving and storing a vehicle/getting a new vehicle from a garage mid police chase.
• Metagaming is using any information learnt outside of the server and bringing it into server, it is prohibited and will result in a permanent ban and/or blacklist. Metagaming includes but is not limited to being in a discord call whilst in the server, exchanging information through discord messages with other players, taking information from people streaming the server and using information from any other characters you may have.
• New Life Rule comes into effect when you die/hit stage 2. Once you respawn you must not remember anything leading up to your characters death, including speaking about the scene which led to your death. You cannot also return to the scene in which you died and you cannot revenge kill anyone who killed you without a new roleplay reason.
• Force Roleplay is when you force yourself into a scene which does not involve you or ruining others roleplay by doing so.
• Voice ID/Character ID is prohibited. You should not be identifying someone who is wearing a mask or over the radio by how they sound. You also should not be identifying someone by how they are dressed, their hair colour or the vehicle they drive unless you are 100% sure it is them (recognisable number plate, same repetitive clothing etc).
• Roleplay over Ruleplay/Weapon Play is important when it comes to roleplaying within the server. If you are involved in a scene with rule breaks, you must carry out the scene then report the player afterwards, you should never break character during a roleplay scene or state you are putting them into a ticket. When it comes to roleplay over weapon play, you must always have a valid reason for pulling a weapon, you should not be pulling out weapons instantly, this also goes for Police Officers instantly pulling out their taser/baton/gun.
• You cannot scam a player in the server for legal items or vehicles.
• A win hungry mentality is frown upon within the server. Roleplay should be enjoyable for all players.

City Rules

• Random Deathmatch (RDM) is attacking a player or killing them without any initiation or previous roleplay. You cannot initiate from inside a vehicle, and you must always give the player chance to respond and build some roleplay. Killing someone should always be last resort.
• Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) is when you use your vehicle as a weapon. This can include hitting someone’s vehicle intentionally or hitting/killer a player with your vehicle. If you make accidental contact with someone or their vehicle, you must go back and check on them and apologise and help them if needed. Pitting is allowed within the server, but you must not pit anyone above 80MPH (unless in the police) and have a valid reason to do so. Be aware of your surroundings when pitting, pitting someone off a bridge or hill will be considered as VDM.
• GTA Driving is any driving which is considered unrealistic. Driving off-road in a non off-road vehicle is prohibited, but you may drive on dirt paths and on train tracks at suitable speeds. You do not have to roleplay your crashes, but you must take into consideration any injuries you may incur from a crash and roleplay these out, if you come out your windscreen, you must not get back in the vehicle and you must roleplay your injuries. Stunt jumps are not allowed.
• Combat Logging is when you F8 quit/log out to avoid losing any items on your persons. This includes storing any items in an MLO during an active police chase/fight to save your items.
• Ninja Looting is when you rob players with no roleplay behind it. You cannot lockpick someone’s car to rob items but you can steal items if the car is abandoned and left unlocked. You cannot rob items from a vehicle which has someone inside or are in close proximity. You are only allowed to rob someone who is stage 1, but you then cannot stage 2 them. It must be one or the other.
• Green Zones or green grass is a place within the server where you cannot initiate anything such as hostage taking, kidnapping or killing someone. If a roleplay scene starts outside of a green zone and leads into a green zone, the roleplay can be continued but you cannot purposely run into a green zone. Places listed as green zones are the hospital, both inside and the front entrance road (upper and lower pillbox) and the police station, both inside and outside front entrance and car park.
• Green Players are players who cannot be taken hostage, kidnapped or killed. The only green players within the server currently are on duty VHS workers. If they are off duty and not in uniform, then they are free game.
• Location Camping is camping specific locations in order to rob, kill or take someone hostage. You also cannot camp robbery locations such as shops, banks and vangelicos.
• You cannot take someone hostage without any initiation. You cannot use a friend or someone you know as a fake hostage for robberies. There is no time limit for holding someone hostage but you must continuously create roleplay and engage with the hostage.
• There are server rules behind robberies. You cannot begin any sort of robberies 30 minutes before and after storm; you are allowed a maximum of 6 people for robberies, including getaway drivers; you cannot any more than 3 hostages for robberies; you can have a maximum of 2 cars on a robbery scene; you cannot ask for money as a demand for a hostage.
• 4Stage 1 and Stage 2 is the 2 different stages of health when you go down within the server. Stage 1 you will have a countdown of 5 minutes, you are on the floor suffering from your injuries and you can call VHS/VPD for help and can receive medical treatment from a local doctor. Whilst you are stage 1, you are still able to speak but you must be roleplaying your injuries. Stage 2 is when the 5 minute countdown surpasses and you will be ‘flat backed’, this means you are dead. You will not be able to call for help and you should not be talking during this stage. You will not be able to receive any medical treatment unless you are already being treated by VHS/VPD. You will not be able to check in to a local or dirty doctor when stage 2. You can respawn once the countdown is complete and the prompt becomes available, but you should not respawn during an active scene, dead or not.

Emergency Service Rules

• Cop Baiting is when you are trying to purposefully get the attention of the police. This includes but not limited to; running red lights purposefully in front of the police, committing crimes in front of PD to get a reaction, involving yourself in a scene which does not involve you, using the dispatch system to bait the police to your location.
• Emergency hostage taking of PD officers is allowed but their must be high quality roleplay reason behind doing this, you cannot get yourself pulled over with the intention to take a police officer. You cannot take on duty VHS workers hostage at any time.
• VHS vehicles cannot be taken under any circumstances. VPD vehicles can be taken if their unlocked and the engine is on but they must only be taken as a last resort and with a high quality roleplay reason.
• Impersonating Emergency services is prohibited. You cannot dress up as a police officer or medical worker, this includes wearing anything such as leg straps and weapon belts.
• Stealing Emergency Equipment is allowed but only certain items are allowed to be taken. These include handcuffs, flashlights, spike strips, radio, bandages, first aid kits, armour, body camera and ammo but not the gun itself.
• Corruption within Emergency services is prohibited unless authorised by senior staff. If you wish to take the path of corruption, you must open a ticket within the main discord and give a valid roleplay storyline, only when it is authorised will you be able to carry out the storyline. If you are seen to be carrying out corruption whilst in a whitelisted job, you will be blacklisted from the retrospective job.
• Dispatch spamming is not allowed. You must not continuously put in calls to get the attention of any emergency services.
